What does that mean?
The Jerusalem Cross was first
used as a coat of arms for the Latin Kingdom in Jerusalem. During
the Crusades, it was referred to as the "Crusaders Cross." The
four small crosses are symbolic of the four Gospels proclaimed to
the four corners of the earth, beginning in Jerusalem; the large
cross symbolizes the person of Christ.
The Kingdom of Jerusalem was
established in 1098, when the members of the First Crusade
captured Jerusalem and elected Godfrey of Boulogne, duke of
Lower-Lorraine, as king of Jerusalem. The city was taken back by
the Muslims in 1291.
My family settled
in Scotland well over 500 years ago. You have all heard of the
Highlander. The Kerrs were low landers. They lived in the swamps. The
swamps were on the border of Scotland and England. The Kerrs were known
for three traits. First, they were people of the wetlands aka swamps.
Second, they were known to have the highest percentage of left handed
people than anyother family in existence. Today in Scotland or England
to be kerr handed is to be left handed. Third, they were known to be the
loyalist of warriors. We all remember the movie Braveheart. The Kerr
clan fooled the English into believing we were loyal to the crown.The
Kerr clan infiltrated the English army. Once on the battlefield the
Kerrs went about killing the Engish.
Therefore, I claim
to be a swamp warrior!

Old Temperance Post Office
Wiley J.
Williams, Lt. Col., CSA, was once postmaster at Temperance. Does
anyone know if this would be the building existent at the time he
was postmaster? He also belonged to Old Concord Methodist Church
and was mentioned by Rev. Bascom Anthony as being a good citizen.
Col. Williams outlived three wives and died in Eastman, Ga., in

I remember going into this
structure as a little boy. I was afraid the building would collapse. My dad picked up a old picture frame and
an old table. We brought these back to our home in Decatur. I
remember my father telling that the
building was not only a post office, it was a dance hall. If I
remember correctly there were railroad tracks nearby. The scuttle
butt is that the train conductors were afraid of traversing the
area. It seems some didn't survive the trip through Temperance,
Georgia. It is a
shame this building was not preserved.

be that the instructor never learned them. It may also
be that he internalized them and doesn't know that he is
actually doing them.
You often hear admonitions such as "Tighten your
groups", or "Watch the front sight", or the famous "Let
the gun surprise you" and so on. And that is as far as
it ever gets. The student is never told why, or even how
to do such things.
Well, we not only do just that in this DVD, but we put
the fundamentals of marksmanship under a microscope for
you so you totally understand what you must do to be an
excellent shot, as well as give you a number of drills
to solidify that knowledge into hard skill.
We begin with the perfect shot. While I am known for
teaching point shooting and shooting on the run as we
get off the x, I will be the first to tell you that in
order to do the things we do, you must have an
understanding of the basics. To be a great point
shooter on the move, it is my opinion that you need to
understand sighted shooting.
Every time you take a perfect shot with the sights, you
are reinforcing the hand-eye coordination necessary to
do that. Then one day, if you either cannot see, or
don't need to see the sights, you can still hit the bad
guy well and fast with no issues.
My objective in training is not to give you the minimum
lowest common denominator skill set that you may need to
keep you alive in a fight with a drunken blind meth
freak with a malfunctioned gun. Lots of folks train for
that. I think it is a mistake. My goal is to make you
the most dangerous and perfect gunfighter that I can.
Today we have the time, the freedom, the ammo, and the
ability to do so. And it all begins with the basics and
identifying the perfect, optimal skill set.
