I
don't think it should be so easy to vote. I believe we should have to
pass a basic civics test and own real estate in the district we vote
in. I bet that statement ruffles a few feathers.

I once asked a fairly prominent
acquaintance of mine who was there federal representative. This person
had been in a highly respected position in the community. They gave me
the first name of one of our Senators. This experience really brought
it home to me that we had a problem. The problem is apathy. I don't
know how to fix this. Do you have any ideas?
